Matrix Array

The Matrix Array Series is composed of the APG4000 and APG6000 systems, designed for high power front-of-house applications. The development of Matrix Array systems is based on two collinear source concepts and the Isotop™ acoustic load. The APG4000 is a medium length system making it outstandingly versatile with its modularity and ease of use. It can be used outdoor, stacked or flown, with a sound coverage up to 40 meters. The APG6000 is a high precision & high power line-source system intended mainly as a long-throw complement to the APG4000. The APG 6000 can also be used alone. Thanks to their identical rgonomics and acoustic pattern, those systems are fully compatible and omplementary. The result is an unlimited possibility of configurations defined by the principle of a "matrix" sound system. Each system is composed by two speakers of identical dimensions: full range "HI" type speaker and low frequency "LO" type speaker. This combination offers unique modularity: 4000HI & 6000HI can be used alone for vocal applications, 4000LO & 6000LO, the number used depending on the requirement, and subwoofers added for infra low frequency reinforcement when needed. A study of the configurations of Matrix Array systems can be carried out using the software Matrix Aiming Tool. The shipping of systems can be realised with the multi cabinet castor plate allowing the stacking of several speakers and therefore pre-configuring the clusters, so saving assembly time on site before flying them. This technique halves the usual rigging time for clusters.
